I apologize for the lateness of the bulletin-been very busy changing out the shop and playing catch-up after the busy holiday season.The shop is now all dressed out for Valentine's Day-come in and see what's new.
The men's shopping night was a great success for our first year. Next year will be bigger and better! Thank you for a fabulous Christmas season-we greatly appreciate your loyalty!
Daphne is off to the Chicago Gift Mart to launch our new business venture. We will be selling wholesale framed artwork to retailers. While Daphne is there she will also be looking for new and exciting merchandise to feature in the shop - items you just can't live without! She will be there from January 18th to January 22nd. The shop will be open her her absence on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
JANUARY RECIPE
"NO PEEK STEW"
- 2 lbs cubed stew beef
- 1 c. celery diced
- 3 large potatoes-quartered
- 6 large carrots in 1/4 inch slices
- 1 large onion diced
- 1 pkg. frozen peas
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 5 tpsp. Minute tapioca
- 3 c. V-8 juice
Put all ingredients in a roaster and stir well. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for five hours. Do NOT peek!
