CUSTOMER APPRECIATION/RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISING EVENT
MARK YOU CALENDARS
DATE CHANGE: WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13TH
5:00PM - 8:00PM
Light refreshments and beverages will be served.
"Bowls for the Cure" and "Luminaries" will also be available. 10% of all purchases during the event will be donated to the "American Cancer Society".
"BOWLS FOR THE CURE"
Hand painted by members of the community.They will be available starting June 7th at the shop for a minimum $10.00 donation.
"LUMINARIES"
For those of you who are not familiar with the luminary program, it is a way to honor someone who has lost the battle against cancer or who is a cancer survivor. The luminaries line the entire walking path at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds on Friday evening, July 20th at 9:00pm and remain lit throughout the night. It is truly a spectacular sight.The luminaries are available for a $10.00 donation with all proceeds going to the "American Cancer Society". Stop by to see us at our tent site. We will be there the ENTIRE twenty-four hours! We need "walkers"to represent our team throughout the event. Please call or email to sign up for any amount of time you can spare.
SUMMER SHOP ITEMS

JUNE RECIPE
From the new "Joy in Simplicity" beautifully illustrated cookbook by artist Nancy Noel.
Nancy's philosophy is "It shouldn't take longer to make than it does to eat".
HOT ARTICHOKE DIP
- 1 - 16oz. can artichoke hearts
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 Tbl.butter
- 1/4 C heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 C parmesan cheese
Saute' artichokes and garlic in butter. Add cream, stirring constantly until heated. Add cheese and continue stirring until thickened. Do not boil.
Serve warm with French Baguette bread.
