In memory of Feff

Our dear little Feff passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in her sleep on a September Sunday.
In her sweet memory, we would like to dedicate the following poem from the N.A. Noel book "All God's Creatures go to heaven". This touching story has a child angel in heaven taking care of our beloved pet until we arrive.

FLY
 Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud the whitest dove
Upon the wind of Heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again

Fly,fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this mem'ry bittersweet
Until we meet

Fly,fly do not fear
Don't waste a breath don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise the sun will set
But I won't forget

Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light

- Jean-Jaques Goldman and Phil Gladstone

  Did you know?

Courtesy of my dear friend, Elaine Warner

Have you ever tried to tear off a section of aluminum foil or
"Saran Wrap"only to have the entire roll come out? How frustrating! Well, here's a solution that I had no idea about all these years. Look on the end of the box - it says something like "press here to lock!" The little tab actually locks the roll in place so it won't come out when you try to tear a piece off. Can you believe it? Finally, I found the answer. Thank you Elaine!
