Once upon a time we were blessed with a gentle
soul that was affectionately named "Bun Face." He was a floppy eared
rabbit that loved M&M's and buttered toast. He had the run of the
entire house and did just fine except for the time he chewed a lamp
cord and came out from behind the table with smoke curling up from his
singed whiskers. That ended his appetite for cords! Bun Face gave us
ten years of enjoyment and love. We still miss him.
In August of 2000 Daphne was beginning her cancer
treatments and was smitten by "Charlie" another floppy eared bunny. He
started out small, but oh how he grew! He was a blessing for Daphne undergoing her battle and provided a lot of humorous moments.Since then things have really multiplied!
First, we were called on to "bunny-sit"our son and daughter-in-law's
rabbit, "Feffer" who is really small compared to Charlie. They get
along great and love to be around each other.
Well, we thought we were about done but not so-
we took on a bunny rescue. One of our friends adopted a new dog that
thought Eloise would be a nice snack. Needless to say, Eloise is now a
part of our family. Charlie is in seventh heaven with TWO girls to fawn
over him.
